Opening “New Pages”…

People who tried to open a new page in life may know how hard it is. Trying to find new things may be exciting at first but the journey may become difficult.

Newspaper of Bahcesehir University’s students “Yeni Sayfa” has been here with us for 13 years with enthusiasm and effort. Thus, before Yeni Sayfa, there was Bahcesehir Haber which has more than 100 editions. We’re so glad that the 14th edition of our newspaper is ready to meet with you with its special and brand new design.

Yeni Sayfa’s is designed by the guidance of Ass.Prof.Nazlı Eda Noyan who is the Head of the Photography and Video (POV) and Cartoon and Animation (ANIM) Departments. Also, there are 9 different supplements that are prepared by students who are studying in different departments. BAU Galata, KEK, Public Space, Bi’Reklam Arası, FTV, International Platform, Animatik, Fotos ve Psikoloji Atlası are ready to meet all the readers in Spring-Summer Special Edition.

Well, what do these supplements tell? We’ll tell right away:

BAU Galata tries to give the reader an opinion about the location Karaköy, which contains our building of Communication Department. This supplement is prepared by New Media Department (NMD) and BAU Creative

KEK which is the abbrevation of “Kültür Edebiyat Kolu” contains the writings of the students who take the course called NMD 2020 by Haydar Ergülen.

In “Public Space” and “Bi’Reklam Arası”, there are sectorial projects of the students of Public Relations (PRL).

FTV is prepared by students of Film and Television Department . the readers are informed about the news in film industry and the success that the students achieve.

Animatik is prepared by the students of the Animation Department and the readers may find news about the animation industry.

In “International Platform”, the international students who are coming to study in BAU from all over the world are sharing their stories.

Fotos is prepared by the students of Photography and Video Department (POV) and the readers are able to view the photographs and news about them.

They are not only the Communication Department students that are incharge of Yeni Sayfa, writings and illustrations that are made by the students of Architecture and Design Department. More over, students who study in the Faculty of Economics Administrative and Social Sciences have their own supplement called Psikoloji Atlası.
